Bands Line Up

Acereko Orchestra 

One of the hottest bands in the Bay Area. The band is made of the best musicians in the business.  Acereko will play everything from: Salsa, Latin Jazz, Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Boleros, Merengue and more.

Primavera Latin Jazz Band 

Primavera Band combines exciting Afro-Cuban and Brazilian rhythms with creative jazz improvisation. Primavera's engaging style, reminiscent of Cal Tjader, has been delighting audiences around the Bay Area at venues that include Savanna Jazz Club, Pier 23 Cafe, and the Panama Hotel. Joining Primavera for this special performance will be Jesse Van Hiller, the drummer for the Sambosseros, and singer Ana Nitmar adds spice with her authentic Latin style interpretations.

Ixim Tinamit Marimba Ensemble 

The band is an authentic, one of a kind Guatemalan traditional
marimba ensemble with a wide repertoire of
traditional and international music.

Pianist Ruthie Dineen  

As the daughter of a Salvadoran mother and Caucasian father, this young pianist/composer fuses the cultural influences and roots of both sides of her family.  While exploring these influences, including her jazz, classical and folk roots, her sound has become one that is both rhythmic and dynamic.  This up and coming musician always tells a unique story and communicates through her music-all done while bringing you onto the dance floor.

Vocalist Ana Nitmar

Ana Nitmar was born in Guatemala and has been singing since the age of five. She moved to California and became part of the dynamic San Francisco Bay Area musical community. 
Her performance styles vary from traditional Guatemalan folk songs to Brazilian and Latin Jazz styles. Ana has shared her music and her joy of singing at many Guatemalan community events, a wide range of venues, festivals and performance stages around the San Francisco Bay Area.
